Branding - Aik Cheong
“AIK CHEONG” is family oriented coffee roaster company established in 1955 in Malaysia. The concept of this cafe logo design is “bring in the identity”. It combines with modern and traditional mixture elements; make them friendly to potential consumer and their target audience. In details,the logo features with Melacca town Baba & Nyonya elements and a coffee stain shape, convey a meaning of traditional Melacca town coffee brand. It also uses minimalism in colors, which included natural coffee/wooden color and traditional red colors (Melacca Baba Nyonya) to correlate to the corporate brand. Final “AIK CHEONG” logo design with a simple concept connecting its brand name to the coffee stain ring, ‘o’ alphabet. The brand logo design with using typography, coffee stain ring, and two main colour palettes..
