Monster Eating

“Monster Eating” educational board game design using 3D interactive system combination of projection mapping technology enable player physically realistic interaction with virtual game elements. This technology introduces fun elements to raise awareness of junk food consumption and excessive food intake, educate and motivate children to choose healthier food in appropriate portions, and encourage children to be physical active or exercise more. In this study, application of gamification concept in this board game design engaging learning experiences for children, beneficial aspects include the immersive story telling, curiosity, challenge, the sense of control, decision making and a sense of mystery. These are the elements of games that are of the most value.

“Monster Kimno wanted to dominate the world. He builds his junk food kingdom. His evil goal is want to make every children behave like monsters. To have a better world around you (players) is affected by your actions and your actions affect your destiny. Different decisions affect different outcomes of your actions. Explore and search for clues, collect items and weapons to increase the power and energy, and search for the method to defeat the monsters.”
